Meet Our Founder
Laura Escamilla was raised in San Antonio Texas as one of five siblings in a close-knit family. After a number of years working for large beauty brands like Christian Dior and Clinique, Laura dreamed of creating products that would have a positive impact on young women. As the daughter of immigrants and a domestic abuse survivor, she knows the power that comes from a positive self-image. Her vision is to instill pride in young women to help them achieve their dreams in life.
Laura is an activist for women’s empowerment and has made Casablanca Beauty a proud affiliate of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. “I am deeply grateful to all the women who helped me recover from my own dramatic experience. Now I want to pay it forward, making sure women of all ages know their worth and are ready to take on the world.” Casablanca Beauty’s philanthropic model includes financial contributions to women’s causes, as well as donations of self-care products for women recovering from domestic abuse.
